General All games must start on the scheduled date (local time) for bets to have action. If a game has been postponed or cancelled before its due start time, all bets are deemed no action. Side betting Both teams are priced to win the game with no handicaps applied. When wagering on the money line your team must win the game on the field in order for you to win your bet. For settlement purposes overtime counts. If a game is 'called', or suspended, winners and losers for betting are official after at least 5 full innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4½ innings. If a game is 'called', or suspended etc, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called). Please note that suspended games do not carry over. Total & run-line betting When betting on total runs (over/under) or run-lines, the game must go to 9 innings (8½ if the home team is ahead) to have action. A run line wager is a bet on a team to win the game with handicaps applied. To even the match for betting purposes the favorite gives the underdog a points start. A favorite is indicated by a minus points handicap and the underdog by plus points. At the end of the game the relevant handicap is added to, or subtracted from the selected teams' score to determine the run line result. A total line is offered on the predicted total number of runs scored in the game. Prices are offered for the actual score to be over or under this quote. The game total result is the combined total runs for both teams at the end of the match, including extra innings. Push result - When the combined scores of both teams equals the totals line exactly, a 'push' results. Stakes on straight/single bets are returned, and in parlays/multiples the selection is treated as a non-runner, and the bet will be settled on the remaining selections. Buying points Points can be bought for the full game only on run lines and totals to move the line or total to your advantage. The amount you have to risk in order to win the same amount originally quoted will increase. The amount of this increase will vary depending on how many points are bought. Selling points Points can be sold for the full game only on run lines and totals to move the line or total to your disadvantage. The amount you have to risk in order to win the same amount originally quoted will decrease. The amount of this decrease will vary depending on how many points are sold. 4½ innings betting When betting on 4½ innings, the result will be the score in the middle of the 5th inning (i.e. not at the bottom of the 5th). 4½ innings line Like the Run Line but this is a wager for a team to be winning in the middle of the 5th innings. Handicaps may be applied to each team score. Push rules apply. 4½ innings total This is a wager on the total score in the middle of the 5th innings. Lines are offered for the total to be over or under the quote. The result used for settling is the combined total points for both teams in the middle of the 5th inning. Push rules apply. Baseball wagers are accepted in the following manner: For game side/total/run-line betting there are three options to choose from: 'Action' - team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. 'One specified pitcher' - a wager on or against one specific starting pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. Specified pitcher must start or wager is deemed no action. 'Listed pitchers must start' - a wager that specifies both starting pitchers. Any variation constitutes no action. Note: Each team's starting pitcher is defined for wagering purposes as the pitcher that throws the initial pitch. Pitchers can be specified when placing wagers. In the event of a change in one or both starting pitchers prior to the start of a baseball game, the side/total/run-line betting may be adjusted. If one scheduled starting pitcher starts against an unscheduled starting pitcher, or both starting pitchers were unscheduled, all 'action' and live 'one specified' pitcher wagers will be computed at the opening price/line established with the new starting pitcher(s). All 4½ Innings wagers are automatically specified as 'listed pitchers must start'. It is the clients responsibility to ensure they are aware of any relevant pitcher changes. Handicaps may be used, and are applied to each player's actual score to determine the result. Push rules apply. Most strikeouts 8½ innings rule applies. Both listed pitchers must throw 1st pitch of game or bets void. Most bases/most hits 8½ innings rule applies. Both players must be in official starting line up or bets void. DAILY PROPS Individual players' performances are matched for betting purposes in a player match-up. Handicaps may be used, and are applied to each player's actual score to determine the result. Push rules apply. Total runs scored (homes vs aways) All action rule applies, regardless of pitchers. Total runs scored (AL vs NL) and total runs scored (all games) 8½ innings rule applies, regardless of pitchers. Highest winning margin All action rule applies, regardless of pitchers. Highest/lowest score of night Refers to total number of runs scored by one team. Relevant games must complete at least 5 full innings (regardless of starting pitcher) otherwise bets void. Team to score/not score a run 8½ innings rule applies, unless relevant team has already scored a run at the time the game was suspended. Both listed pitchers must throw 1st pitch of game or bets void. Team to record/not record a RBI/walk/home run 8½ innings rule applies, unless relevant team has already recorded a RBI/walk/home run. Player performances Wagering is available on the performance of a named player in a variety of achievements e.g. strikeouts, bases, hits. Push rules apply. Mythicals 8½ innings rule applies for both relevant games. Both listed pitchers must throw 1st pitch of both relevant games or bets void. Mythical matches are imaginary games pairing teams across the daily schedule for betting purposes. The teams' total run scores in their actual games are matched to give an imaginary result. Run line in-running This market is offered on selected games with run lines available and updated whilst the game is running. The run line quoted is for the whole game including extra innings if played. At the end of the game the run line taken in-running is applied to the team score to determine the run line in-running result. Push result - When scores are level after accounting for the handicap, a 'push' results. Game total in-running This market is offered on selected games with game total lines available and updated whilst the game is running. FUTURES 'Regular season wins/match-ups' - team must complete at least 160 regular season games for bets to have action. 'To win Division' - team must complete at least 160 regular season games for bets to have action. MLB tie break rules apply. 'To win Pennant' - team must complete at least 160 regular season games for bets to have action. The team that progresses to the World Series will be deemed the winner of the Pennant. Outright betting Prices are offered on teams or players to be the outright winners of a given tournament or competition. For example the World Series is the outright tournament in MLB. Prices are offered for each team participating. League betting Teams participating in an outright tournament may be grouped in conferences or leagues. For example MLB is grouped into 2 leagues (American League and National League). Prices are offered for each participating team to win their respective League.
